Camp Stands
The Point Caravan Resort has always been the most popular choice for campers year after year. We strive to give you absolute best camping experience! Clearly marked Caravan Stands allow guests to enjoy the view of the ocean from almost every angle. Well looked after grounds & sufficient shade makes it an obvious choice. We welcome guests to the new & improved Point Caravan Resort!
Ablution Blocks
Our Ablution facilities are well cared for. Rest assured that you will be able to make use of these well maintained, clean, neat & sanitized ablutions at all times.
We ask all guests that you be water-wise.
Do your bit: Our eco-footprint is important to us. Please use only 1-Ply toilet paper and be mindful of the environment!
Laundry Facilities
For the longer staying guests we have convenient, coin operated laundry machines & washing lines in our designated Laundry areas. Please help us keep the facilities neat & tidy for the next guest. You can find out what is available (coins & washing powder) from the shop at reception. We encourage campers to supply their own but we do keep some emergency stock just in case.

How are the rates broken down?
Rates are determined by the following season occupancy dates & also vary during School Holidays, Long Weekends or Special Events. Certain additional charges also apply, as well as whether or not the Stand is Sea-facing or not:
High Season: 1 December - 14 January
Mid Season: 15 January - 1 May & 1 September - 30 November
Low Season: 2 May - 31 August -
Do you provide power?
Yes, each Caravan & Tent Stand has power points.

Is there a discount for Senior Pensioners?
Yes we do have special rates for our Senior Pensioners 60 years or older. You will need to provide your ID document or Pensioner Card, & there are exclusions during High Season, School Holidays or Public Holidays & Long Weekends. The rule of thumb is to book during Mid & Low Season & to check if your stay overlaps on any of these days. (Conditions do apply).

Are there meals available within the resort?
No it is self-catering but we do have a tuck-shop for basic emergency supplies & you have some of the best restaurants & food stands, coffee vans & ice-cream kiosks a short walk away. The Putt-Putt course adjacent to the resort, offers light meals & snacks or refreshments. (You have a wide variety of choices). You are able to 'braai' within your designated campsite.

Can I bring my Boat or Jet Ski & trailor?
Yes but it is subject to space availability. Please confirm when you make your booking & be very specific.
